Dr. Julie is honored to be a part of the Child Trauma Academy's community and is certified in the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME) framework from the renowned Child Trauma Academy. This framework, developed by Dr. Bruce Perry, is used to improve the lives of high-risk children through education, research, and the dissemination of innovative practice. If you have an interest in learning more about trauma sensitive practice you will love this work.
If you are interested in using any apps for yourself, or those that you work with, consider these additions. They are great tools for ages 12 through adulthood and implement CBT related strategies to decrease distressing emotions and engage in gently self-discovery. Dr. Julie is not affiliated with any of these apps, she has simply found them beneficial in her practice.
